Moncton Fire Department & NB Ambulance were on scene of this motorcycle accident this afternoon at 1:30 PM in front of the Technical School on Mountain Road, Codiac RCMP responded and traffic in the west bound lane was tied up for about 15 minutes. The motorcyclist had a sore leg . Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident on a very busy Mountain road.

…do many of you find them annoying?
okay i love a ride on a Harley Davidson… nothing like the wind in your hair on the back of a Harley… WEE! but some bikers can be a bit rude and ruin it for the rest of us… thus we all suffer for a chosen few..

according to the Commander of the Long Beach PD… South Div. it’s time to crack down on the excessive noise pollution… due to a large number of complaints from area resident– coupled with the increased noise emitted from the bikes… officials have begun to seek out riders of excessively loud motorcycles… they cite modifying a motorcycle to make it noisier is illegal… the max level of permissible sound emission is 95 dec.

now you know this isn’t going to go down without a fight… me personally… i find the off-road dirt bikes and quads more irritating.. in spite of city ordinances… you still find some of these rude individuals screeching down a quiet residential street… or they just have to idle their quad right in front of your house…

With todays gas prices I still enjoy riding. I feel it is only going to gain in popularity as we watch the price of gas soar to catch up with the rest of the world.

Personally I applaud the Long Beach PD commander for trying to do something that should have been addressed all over a long time ago. I am not the type who needs to have everyone looking at me like it appears these people with loud pipes do. Its no different than some punk having to rattle my windows as he goes by my house in his car with his stereo blasting. Look at me! Look at me! Is this one of the things that is so important to people now a days? I know loud pipes on bikes have been popular for a long time and some even think they save lives. I know many love to hear a finely tuned motor running. I also know it is not only the young who enjoy this since many times its a 50 year old man taking off his helmet. I just don’t see how it can be enjoyable to listen to that racket if the ride is going to last longer than 5 minutes. If I was going on an all day ride I couldn’t stand such noise. Maybe they wear ear plugs which would prove my point that it is only for others to "enjoy".

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to sound off with my two cents worth. I’ll remember this question the next quiet Sunday afternoon that is interrupted by one of the bikes with those bellowing loud pipes.

For those of you who don’t get it: this is a song about a couple in an unavoidable car crash who find just enough time before they die to say that they love each other.

I love this song, and every time I listen to it I see a vivd narrative of story that I felt needed to be captured in art. I am limited by skill in what I can show, but I wanted to take the chance to at least try to put it into something visual for others.

Yes, all art in this is my own work. Through both traditional and digital mediums, I drew each still from photos used as references.
