Help solving my XBox 360 crashes?
I bought my 360 and it worked fine for about four months. After that it started crashing about ten minutes into every game I tried to play. The disc tray would make some really crazy noises and in some cases would not even open (I’d get the flashing green light). The disc tray problem seems to have resolved itself now, but my games are still prone to crashing regularly (EXCEPT Civilization Revolution, if that means anything). Does anyone have any advice regarding the seemingly random crashes?
u should try calling the customer service number that came with the xbox, u can probably get it shipped in and fixed at no charge.

i used to have the same problem. i had to get a new xbox. microsoft like refuses to fix it if you dont have the red ring of death.

Maybe try getting the additional fan for it, it could be the heat since the disc tray thing is fixed.

thats cuz 360 sucks and it breaks down easily you should of got a ps3

All you need to do is call Microsoft. They will help you in figuring out how to send in your 360. You have only had it for 4 months, so you still have a warranty on it. DO NOT use a fan!!! Those have been known to actually trap the heat inside the console. So yeah, just give MS a call, if you must, send it in, and youll get it back in a few weeks. I personally had to send in my 360 a month ago, and they just gave me a new one. Very good service, they know what they are doing.
